Is Oberlo Free?
Oberlo has 3 plans, and the ‘Starter’ plan will always be free. With the ‘Starter’ plan you’ll have everything you need to launch and grow your business. As your business grows and becomes more successful, you can always switch to a different plan and unlock more opportunities with Oberlo. That said, you will need a Shopify account in order to create your store. Shopify’s ‘Basic’ plan starts at $29/month – you can also use their 14-day free trial to try it out.
In which countries can I sell with Oberlo?
You can use Oberlo to sell in any country as long as your suppliers are shipping to that country – most of them do ship worldwide. You will need a credit (debit) card or Paypal account to order products from suppliers.
Do I have to pay for the products I’m selling in advance?
No. You only order products from your suppliers once a customer has purchased them from you. This means you’ll never need to worry about storing your inventory, and you can focus on attracting more people to your store.
What do I need to get started?
Besides a computer and internet, the only thing you’ll need is an Oberlo account, which is free, and a Shopify account. Once you have these, you can search for products, add them to your store, and start driving people to your online shop.
Can I add products from Amazon, eBay, or Etsy?
No. Currently You can only add products to your store from AliExpress. That said, many suppliers from AliExpress are interested in working with dropshippers to offer better prices, packaging, or product customization as your business scales.
Can I use Oberlo with other ecommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, Wordpress etc.)?
No. Oberlo is only available with Shopify.
